Do I need to know how to code?
No. You make a copy, press Deploy and open your link. The guide shows every click with screenshots.
Is CleanOS a spreadsheet template or a real app?
A real app. CleanOS is a web app built with Google Apps Script, and it uses a Google Sheet as its database. You open it from a link like any other app, with screens, buttons and team logins. The Sheet sits behind it in your own Google Drive. That's why there's no monthly fee, and why we never see your data.
Are there really no monthly fees?
Yes. CleanOS runs on Google Apps Script and Google Sheets, which are free with any Google account. You pay us once and that's it.
What exactly do I receive after I pay?
An instant download with your link to copy the app into your Google account, plus the step-by-step setup guide. You'll also get a receipt email with your download page.
Will Google show a warning during setup?
Yes, and it's completely normal. Because CleanOS is your own private copy, not an app published to the public, Google asks you to confirm you trust it before it can send emails and save to your Sheet. The setup guide shows exactly which buttons to press, and it only happens once.
Do I need a paid Google Workspace account?
No, a free Gmail account works. Workspace lets you send from your business domain and send more emails per day. Free Gmail allows about 100 automated emails a day, which is plenty for most small teams.
Where is my customer data stored?
In a Google Sheet in your own Google Drive. We never see it. Export or back it up whenever you like.
Can my cleaners use it on their phones?
Yes. Each cleaner gets their own login, opens the link in any phone browser and sees only their own jobs.
Does it take card payments from customers?
CleanOS tracks payments rather than processing them. Your invoices show your payment instructions, and you record each payment in one tap so balances and overdue lists stay accurate.
Will it work in my country and currency?
Yes. Set your currency symbol, tax rate, payment terms and quote, invoice and job number prefixes in Settings.
Can I bring in my existing customers?
Yes. Add them one by one in the app, or paste them straight into the Google Sheet behind it.
What if I get stuck?
